Derek Sydney (DeSarem)

 |
|
DeSarem's works
at R1 in 1965. His methods appear without moral guidance and
he certainly unnerves the other staff at the facility as he
prepares and takes charge of the new volunteers for hypnotherapy. |
Derek Sydney's acting career began when he was
awarded the Alexander Korda Scholarship to the Royal Academy of
Dramatic Arts. His career in film and television during the 50s
and 60s made him a familiar face if not name. He retired from
acting in 1990 taking residence in both San Marcos, USA and London.
He was recently nominated as "Volunteer of the Year"
by the Actors Alliance of San Diego and was honoured at he ATAR
Awards 2000 by the San Diego Performing Arts League. Derek died
in 2000.
